User Agreement

Last updated: 13.07.2026

These Terms of Service govern the use of SignalWisp, available at https://signalwisp.app, and the purchase or request of SignalWisp Wi‑Fi planning reports.

By submitting a report request, uploading a floorplan, or purchasing a SignalWisp report, you agree to these terms.

If you do not agree, do not submit a report request or upload files.

1. What SignalWisp provides

SignalWisp provides floorplan-based predictive Wi‑Fi planning reports.

A SignalWisp report may include:

  • current Wi‑Fi setup diagnosis;
  • before/after predictive coverage maps;
  • recommended router/access point/mesh placement zones;
  • floor-specific installation guidance;
  • hardware class guidance;
  • client and latency checks where information is provided;
  • assumptions and limitations;
  • suggested starting settings for Wi‑Fi bands, channel width, transmit power, and related configuration.

SignalWisp reports are based on the floorplan, uploaded information, modeled materials, selected assumptions, Wi‑Fi device/client profiles, and predictive RF modeling.

2. Predictive report, not an on-site RF survey

SignalWisp is a predictive planning service. It is not an on-site RF survey, spectrum analysis, cabling design, electrical design, or installation guarantee.

Actual Wi‑Fi performance can differ from the report because of:

  • real wall/floor materials;
  • hidden construction materials;
  • furniture, appliances, mirrors, metal objects, and cabinets;
  • AP mounting height and orientation;
  • interference from neighboring networks;
  • client device limitations;
  • router/AP firmware and configuration;
  • cabling, PoE, switch, and ISP/router limitations;
  • changes made after the report is generated.

The report is intended to help you make better placement and hardware decisions before buying or installing equipment. It does not guarantee exact RSSI, throughput, latency, roaming behavior, or real-world speed.

3. What is included

Unless agreed otherwise, one standard SignalWisp report includes:

  • one property;
  • up to two floors;
  • one primary optimization target;
  • one PDF report;
  • one correction pass for report/export errors.

Examples of optimization targets include:

  • balanced whole-home Wi‑Fi;
  • gaming / low latency;
  • video calls / work-from-home;
  • rental / BnB / small office;
  • mesh-only / no new cables.

Extra scenarios, extra floors, changed requirements, post-install troubleshooting, or new designs may require a separate quote or additional fee.

4. What is not included

Unless explicitly agreed separately, SignalWisp reports do not include:

  • on-site RF survey;
  • spectrum analysis;
  • guaranteed real-world performance;
  • exact cable routes;
  • electrical work;
  • PoE switch budgeting;
  • installation labor;
  • router/controller configuration service;
  • unlimited troubleshooting;
  • unlimited revisions;
  • product purchasing on your behalf;
  • certification for legal, safety, or compliance purposes.

AP/router markers shown in the report are RF-preferred placement zones, not exact outlet, wall-drilling, cable-route, or mounting coordinates. Final installation feasibility must be verified on site.

5. User responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information, including:

  • usable floorplan files;
  • number of floors;
  • current router/AP location;
  • relevant Wi‑Fi problem areas;
  • internet speed if known;
  • Ethernet/cabling constraints if known;
  • important client devices if relevant;
  • preferred report goal.

You confirm that you are allowed to share any uploaded floorplan, image, PDF, or related information with SignalWisp for the purpose of preparing a Wi‑Fi planning report.

Do not upload files you are not allowed to share.

Do not upload unnecessary sensitive information. If a floorplan includes details that are not needed for Wi‑Fi planning, remove or blur them where possible before uploading.

6. Floorplan review before payment

For the initial workflow, SignalWisp reviews the submitted floorplan before asking for payment.

No payment is required before the floorplan is reviewed and accepted.

After review, SignalWisp may:

  • accept the request and send a payment link;
  • ask for clarification or a better floorplan;
  • decline the request if the input is not usable.

SignalWisp may decline requests where the floorplan is too blurry, incomplete, missing scale/context, inconsistent, unsupported, or otherwise unsuitable for a useful report.

7. Payment

If the floorplan is accepted, you will receive a payment link.

Payment must be completed before the final report is prepared or delivered unless otherwise agreed.

Payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. SignalWisp does not store card details.

The founding beta price, where available, applies only to the scope described at the time of purchase.

8. Cancellation and refund policy

Before work starts, you may cancel the request and no payment is required.

If payment has been made but work has not started, you may request a refund.

Because the report is personalized to your uploaded floorplan, Wi‑Fi setup, constraints, and selected goal, refunds are generally not offered once analysis has started or once the personalized report has been delivered, except where required by applicable law or where SignalWisp fails to provide the purchased service.

A refund may be issued if:

  • SignalWisp cannot produce the report after payment;
  • you were charged twice;
  • the report was not delivered;
  • the delivered report materially does not match the purchased service.

Refunds are not normally offered for:

  • change of mind after delivery;
  • disagreement with a predictive recommendation;
  • deciding not to install the suggested equipment;
  • real-world conditions that differ from the provided/modelled information;
  • missing or inaccurate information supplied during intake;
  • new requirements after the report was generated;
  • post-installation issues outside the report scope.

For EU consumers, online service purchases may have a 14-day withdrawal period, with exceptions depending on the type of service, personalization, immediate performance, and express acknowledgement. SignalWisp may ask you to confirm that you want work to begin before the withdrawal period ends and that you understand how this affects cancellation rights.

9. Correction pass

One correction pass is included for report/export errors.

Examples of covered corrections:

  • mislabeled floors;
  • wrong device name where correct information was provided;
  • missing information that was provided before analysis;
  • obvious PDF export/layout issue;
  • factual mistake in the report based on the provided inputs.

The correction pass does not include:

  • a new design based on new floorplans;
  • changed requirements;
  • newly added devices;
  • different optimization goals;
  • post-install troubleshooting;
  • unlimited back-and-forth support.

Correction requests should be sent within 7 days of report delivery.

10. Delivery time

Expected delivery is normally stated after the floorplan is accepted and payment is received.

A typical delivery window may be 48–72 hours, but this can vary depending on complexity, missing information, workload, or technical issues.

If additional clarification is required, delivery may be delayed until the needed information is provided.

11. Hardware guidance

SignalWisp may provide hardware class guidance, such as whether Wi‑Fi 5, Wi‑Fi 6, Wi‑Fi 6E, Wi‑Fi 7, wired APs, mesh nodes, or multi-gigabit equipment appear appropriate for the modeled scenario.

This is not a guarantee that a specific product will perform exactly as modeled.

SignalWisp does not sell hardware unless explicitly stated. Hardware recommendations or examples are planning guidance only.

12. No professional installation or safety advice

SignalWisp does not provide electrical, structural, building-code, fire-safety, or cabling certification advice.

Any installation involving cabling, drilling, PoE equipment, electrical power, ceiling mounting, or building modifications should be checked by a qualified installer where appropriate.

13. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SignalWisp to:

  • upload files you are not allowed to share;
  • submit unlawful, misleading, or abusive requests;
  • attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or misuse report templates, design logic, or software;
  • resell reports as your own without written permission;
  • use the service for illegal surveillance, unauthorized access, or malicious network activity.

14. Intellectual property

SignalWisp retains ownership of its report format, templates, analysis structure, text, graphics, software, and methodology.

You may use the delivered report for your own property planning, installer communication, or internal decision-making.

You may not resell, rebrand, publicly redistribute, or commercially reuse the report without written permission.

15. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SignalWisp is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of internet service, lost revenue, failed installation, hardware purchase decisions, or real-world performance differences.

SignalWisp’s total liability for a paid report is limited to the amount paid for that specific report, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

16. Privacy

Personal data and uploaded files are handled according to the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains what data is collected, why it is used, how long it is kept, and how deletion requests can be made.

17. Changes to these terms

SignalWisp may update these terms as the service develops.

The latest version will be available on this page.

For submitted requests, the terms accepted at the time of submission or payment apply unless otherwise agreed.
